HOW CAN THE PROGRAMS BE INDIVIDUALISED?
A Questionnaire will be sent out within 24h of purchasing. Depending on your answers about handball position, individual goals, injury history, training experience, equipment and training/match schedule an individual program will be built within 72h of answering the Questionnaire.
WILL IT INCLUDE STRENGTH EXERCISES?
Yes. Strength training is vital for handball performance and injury reduction. The strength exercises chosen will be dependent on what your individual goals are e.g. throwing, jumping, sprinting, strength, mobility, handball feints, defence, saves, reactions, balance/shooting through contact and so on. The exercises will be an optimal mix of both sport specific exercises and traditional strength exercises to give you the tools to achieve your goals.
WILL IT INCLUDE CONDITIONING/CARDIO?
Yes. Conditioning/cardio is optional, during season it’s less important. But, through the online coaching you will get the option to add conditioning. You will be able to pick what type of conditioning, how many days per week and how much it should be prioritised compared to regular strength training. There will be options on what equipment is needed to perform the conditioning.
HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
Each month you subscribe you will be getting a new individual monthly program. Each month you have the access to change the handball goals, training days, equipment available, injury status,training/match schedule to suit your goals for that month.
We recommend that to be able to reach your highest athletic potential you need to train consistently over a long duration. A 12 month plan would be most optimal to reach the goals you desire. If you are looking for a quick 2 week fix, look elsewhere.
WHAT ARE “CHECK UPS”?
Accountability. Each week in the Online Coaching service Handball Strength will contact you and ask about how the week went. What went well and what can be improved? To help you go through this journey to reaching your highest athletic potential together with Handball Strength and keep you on your toes.
WHAT ARE “VIDEO ANALYSIS”?
Each week in the Exclusive Online Coaching service you will be available to send videos of your execution of the exercises in the program or videos of in game handball moves to Handball Strength. It will be reviewed by Handball Strength and tips on improving the form and execution of the techniques will be given.
WILL THERE BE AN APP OR WEBSITE ACCESS?
Since the individual programs in the online coaching are 100% manually built, the programs and E-books will be sent out through the provided email. No app is currently available or website access to the individual programs.
HOW WILL IT BE BILLED?
It will be billed monthly. Each month you are subscribed you will receive an individual handball strength & conditioning program for that month. After cancelation you will still be able to keep the programs for the months that you have been subscribed.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED FOR ONLINE COACHING?
Whatever you have. The workout plans in the online coaching services will be customised after your individual equipment is available. Everything from body weight to home gyms with resistance bands and dumbbells to full access gyms.
CAN I CONTINUE MY OWN WEIGHT TRAINING REGIMEN?
It is advised that athletes only complete the programs in the online coaching. If you need to participate in your team strength and conditioning training plans, then remove the exercises from the online coaching programs that you do with your team. Handball Strength will be available for questions on how to properly structure your individual balance between your team training and the online coaching workout plans
I HAVE AN INJURY AND NEED TO PAUSE/CANCEL MY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION!
Unfortunately, there is no way to pause payments for the monthly subscription. However, you will still be able to save the workout plans for the months you have trained and once you start again the online coaching subscription you will start where you left off with new workout plans depending on your current physical abilities.
IF I CANCEL MY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, WILL I STILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE PROGRAMS AND THE E-BOOKS?
You can cancel the program at any time, just be sure to cancel before your next billing cycle. You will still be able to save the programs ad E-Books for the months you have trained.
IF I CANCEL AND RE-JOIN, WILL I HAVE TO START FROM THE BEGINNING?
Once you start the online coaching subscription you will start where you left off with new workout plans depending on your current physical abilities och they will be taken into consideration what you have performed in previous online coaching workout plans.
I HAVE A CURRENT INJURY/LIMITATION, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM(S)?
It is advised that all athletes/clients consult with their physician or physical therapist for guidance on medically related inquiries. Athletes must be cleared for high-intensity Plyometrics & Resistance Training prior to beginning any online training.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND FOR MY PURCHASE?
If a monthly subscription is purchased, all clients must cancel prior to their next billing cycle. A strict no-refund policy is enforced as per the checkout language prior to completing the purchase and the agreed upon Terms of Service for online services.
